Senior Business Analyst

As a Product Analyst/Business Solution Analyst with our Digital Commercial Insurance Small and Lower Middle Market (SLM) domain, you will have the opportunity to form a powerful partnership with senior leadership in both business and operations, influencing business strategy by designing effective user experiences and comprehensive solution architectures that drive success.

• Lead the elicitation and documentation of business requirements
• Collaborate with Digital Underwriting leadership and others across SLM
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams
• Identify and help architect business capabilities across People, Process, Partners, and Technology
• Support the Product Owners within an Agile framework
• Strategically design, sequence, and execute business projects
• Collaborate with business teams to develop practical solutions
• Build strong relationships with senior business, IT, and operations leadership
• Guide IT analysts and business subject matter experts on project initiatives

• Comprehensive understanding of business operations, strategies, processes, data analysis, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance structures
• P&C Insurance experience preferred and line of business knowledge a plus
• Proficiency in identifying structural issues within the organization, understanding functional interdependencies, and resolving cross-silo redundancies to enhance efficiency
• Ability to apply architectural methods, principles, and tools effectively to business challenges, promoting Agile delivery and continuous improvement
• Experience visualizing and constructing high-level models and diagrams to support analysis and strategic planning for business architecture evolution
• Extensive experience in planning and implementing business or IT initiatives, with a preference for a blend of both
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for creating visual representations of complex ideas for stakeholders
• Proven ability to act as a liaison between business units and IT, effectively communicating requirements, data constraints, business rules, processes, and responsibilities
• Capability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels and fostering consensus-driven solutions
